Just a light Easter snack of a post this time, some of the new stuff I’m listening to these days.

Gnarls Barkley – Run

Danger Mouse & Cee-Lo, a.k.a. Gnarls Barkley, have just released their new album The Odd Couple and this track is the first single, accompanied by a goofball eighties clip featuring Justin Timberlake. Can’t wait to hear the whole album!

Le Le – Skinny Jeans

De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig‘s Serge Faberge has teamed up with Piet Par’a and Rimer London in this new outfit. Mix up some wicked electro tunes with seemingly random lyrics in a combination of Dutch, French and German delivered in a trademark cocky manner and there you have Le Le. Out of nowhere apeared three videos, Skinny Jeans being my favourite, but also extremely catchy are the Subterranean Homesick Blues inspired Hard and blurry La Bouche. Their album Flage is out now.

MGMT – Time To Pretend
(If the video doesn’t work check it out on their myspace)

The Brooklyn based twosome MGMT just came out with their album Oracular Spectacular and released the single Time To Pretend in March, which previously appeared on their 2005 EP by the same name. This track had me hooked from the first time I heard it!
